All your friends and family have agreed to celebrate your wedding day with you. And everyone shares this common attribute: You’re not really a dancing crowd! So how do you occupy the time that would normally have guests on the dance floor? Here is a collection of Wedding Guest Entertainment Ideas!

Dancing for entertainment during a wedding reception is the obvious choice for most weddings. But there are some crowds where dancing is really not their forte. If this is you, or you are looking for something unique to offer your weddings guests, then you have come to the right place!

Wedding Guest Entertainment Ideas (that aren’t dancing)

Audio Guest Book
Get two for the price of one with an audio guest book! Allow me to explain. With an audio guest book, like those offered by After The Tone, you can capture your guests’ voice and replay the best memories from your favorite people. They can leave a personal message for you and your partner that is both fun to receive and fun to give.

Flower Bar
Again this guest experience can serve double duty as both entertainment and as a guest favor. Provide a variety of florals and fillers for guests to arrange a petite bouquet for themselves to take home. A “flower bar” is beautiful with all the extra blooms in the room, and a fun activity for your friends and family!

I Spy with a Polaroid Camera
Have a camera (or a few) available for guests to play “I Spy” and capture moments of your wedding through their eyes. Items on the list could include: a beautiful dress, a yummy treat, people laughing, dancing feet, holding hands, a great big hug, a piece of cake, lights above, a funny face, awesome grooves, waving sparklers, romantic moods, something old, something new, the bride & groom, a photo of you!
Kissing Booth
This one is an oldie but a goodie. Set up a stand, similar to a carnival booth, with a charming sign reading “Kissing Booth” where guests can capture an intimate moment together. It is on-brand for a wedding day and a cute upgrade from your standard Photo Booth. Pinterest has some cute examples!

Late Night Snacks
Food is generally a successful offering, especially when you and your guests have been celebrating for a few hours! Late night snack ideas include pizzas, hot dogs, nachos, donuts, popcorn, instant ramen, and more.
Lego Figurine Station
This one had me literally laughing-out-loud! How fun would it be to offer your guests a “Build-A-Lego Figurine” station! Have bins of Lego bricks in a variety of colors, shapes, facial expressions, etc. Your names or wedding date could be on the base plate to help remind guests where they made their figure.

Live Artist Paintings
Hiring an artist to paint a scene from your wedding day live is truly a sight to be held. Or host an artist offering mini painted portraits, water colors or caricatures. Vendors can paint your guests on the spot and provide them with the finished artwork to take home. This is not only a unique wedding favor idea, but it is also a fantastic guest experience!
Portrait Studio
It’s like having a photobooth, but instead of limited space and photo strip takeaway, there’s a professional photographer and frame-worthy portrait print available before you go home. They take care of staging the scene, posing your guests, editing the portraits on the spot, and printing photos for guests to take home that same night. Based in California, but willing to fly anywhere, is The Vanity Portrait Studio. Reach out to them for a quote on incorporating a portrait studio at your wedding reception!

Whiskey & Cigar Lounge
Add some “Mad Men” vibes to your wedding reception with a whiskey and cigar lounge. Offer sipping whiskeys neat, on the rocks, or have craft cocktails available, pairing them with a nice cigar. Outdoor heaters might be necessary depending on the location and time of year of your wedding.
Yard Games, Mini Golf & More!
Games have been a wedding trends for years now and I see this 2025 wedding trend continuing on for many more. Yard games like cornhole, giant connect four, ladder ball, lawn chess, ring toss, and giant Jenga are easy to set-up, and most guests already know how to play. Another I’ve seen trending lately, but requires a bit more effort, is mini golf! Having nine or more mini golf courses set-up can be a fun take on the classic yard game. Couples have also offered an assortment of board games for their guests to enjoy at their tables throughout the reception.

Conclusion
I hope there is something you were able to take away from these Wedding Guest Entertainment Ideas. Remember to Pin this post for when you are ready for next steps.

We had yard games at our wedding. Giant glow in the dark Jenga and corn hole seemed to be the favorites.
Glow in the dark giant jenga?! So cool!!
These are such great and fun guest ideas for entertainment! I feel this gets lost in all the wedding planning!🤩
Yes! As much as weddings are about the couple getting married, the reception is still an event that needs flow and entertainment (in my opinion) especially if people aren’t into dancing.
We were at a wedding with a donut display where we could help ourselves. It was a great ice breaker and the kids thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
We also did a donut wall and guests enjoyed it! I think that wedding trend will stick around for awhile!
Such cool ideas! I especially love the cornhole and mini-golf idea! And I totally dig the lego people idea. That would work on a rainy day too!
We did cornhole and people loved having an option away from the dance floor. I wish we thought of mini golf, so cool!
What fun ideas! I love the Lego building station, although I think my son would commander that if it were available!
I love these ideas! We adopted and did fundraisers to help offset the costs. These would be handy for fundraising nights, graduation, birthdays, and so many other opportunities. I love the creativity in these ideas.
Ouhh absolutely love those ideas. Especially the flower bar!
Absolutely love the idea of a flower bar!! Great ideas!
