Welcome here! I’m Jenni.
I am the wife of an amazingly supportive husband (Erik) and mama of one girl (Ainsley).
I’m a native California country girl that you are more likely to find hiking in the Sierra Nevadas than soaking up sun rays at the beach. Although I currently reside in El Dorado County (born & raised & returned), I’ve lived in Sacramento, San Diego, Yuba City, and Sydney, Australia (briefly in college).
My big sister (Lauren) and I grew up in the house our parents still enjoy. When the opportunity to move nearer to my parents presented itself, Erik and I jumped on it. Ainsley loves being able to easily pop over and see Grammy and Papa.
The move upgraded our living from a 3-bedroom-2-bath suburban ranch home to a 4-bedroom-2.5 bath farmhouse on 5-acres. We are incredibly blessed with this home and cannot wait to making it our own. I have dreams of a cut-flower garden, renovating the “half bath”, and hosting a fabulous Christmas party one day.
A Few Facts About Me
- I graduated from California State University, Sacramento in 2014 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreation Management (at least that’s the quick way to explain it).
- I have been a wedding planner, hotel sales manager and even worked in a bridal shop.
- My wedding experience also includes being a Maid-of-Honor or Bridesmaid seven times!
- I love DIY projects and cannot wait to start another!
- I enjoy yoga, reading, savory food, good wine, and even better coffee.
- I have a YouTube Channel mostly about home renovations and motherhood, with a splash of yoga mixed in from a few years ago. Truth is it needs some TLC.
